.5 Special Education Resource Room Teacher - KHS
Experience in providing direct instruction in reading mechanics and skills. Training in the Lindamood Bell learning process is preferred as well as experience with progress monitoring for all areas of reading. This position involves both case management as well as remedial instruction in reading skills and strategies for high school students grades 9-12 who are reading below grade level. Experience with standardized testing is preferred. State of Maine 282 teaching certification for grades 6-12 is required. Previous high school experience is preferred.
